Functional ware useable in dishwashers & oven. Cone 07 Bisque for maximum glaze absorption, which then must be fired to cone 6. MAY NOT GIVE SATISFACTORY RESULTS AT CONE 06 FIRING. All Blue Ribbon stoneware bisque is produced in the USA. When using Stroke & Coat or Concepts or Velvets underglazes then a suitable high firing clear glaze such as AMACO #HF9 should be used. This stoneware is white in bisque but shown here finished in AMACO Celebration high firing cone 6 glaze, although most Duncan & Mayco glazes fit this stoneware body at cone 6 firings.
